Meet Steve

I’m Steve, the creator behind Steve Groves Photo. I build visual stories with polish, intention, and a quiet punch that sticks with you. My work blends craft and instinct, aiming for that charged moment when something ordinary suddenly feels cinematic. If you want visuals with clarity, heart, and a little extra spark, you’ve found the right place.My background begins as a performer. I am trumpet player, a singer, and I have degrees in sound recording and music composition. When you add in decades of design, performance, and production, you get someone who is wired to think about the timing, emotion, and rhythm of a story. By day, I produce media for higher education; by night and weekends I run this business and perform with Uptown Rhythm and Brass. I live in Pittsburgh with my family, but I grew up in the northern suburbs. That means you get a rural work ethic coupled with the city’s momentum into every project.
